Posson

The posson (with the same etymology that “the potion”) is an old measurement of Capacité for Liquide S of six inch S of the King cubes, the quarter of the Chopine, that is to say 119,018 ml.

The Canadian legislator seems to be unaware of this old French measuring unit. He confuses it with another unit of volume: the Roquille. The roquille is the quarter of the posson .

Posson is also an inhabitant of Possonnière (49)
