Port Ventured

PortAventura is a Parc with topics located between Villa-seca and Salou (Tarragone, Catalogne, Spain). It was inaugurated in 1995. The site where the park is installed had been selected before like being able to receive the future Eurodisney. It has five zones sets of themes: the the Mediterranean, the Polynesia, the China, the Mexico and the Far West.

Its attractions headlights are the Russian Montagnes Dragon Khan , drawn by Bolliger & Mabillard and Furius Baco drawn by Intamin AG. Dragon Khan contains 8 loops, and measures 1270 meters length of rail for 45 meters in height. This attraction certainly strongly contributed to the success of the increasingly large park each year. Furius Baco , open in June 2007, propels the visitors to 135km/h in 3 seconds. These two courses cost 15 million euros each one.

Many other attractions and spectacles are proposed.

The park was temporarily the property of Universal Parks & Resorts which called it Universal Mediterranea.

The complex includes/understands also the watery park Caribe Aquatic Park

Tutuki Splash (Polynesia), a large splash with more than 55 km/h.

Large Canyon Rapids (Far West)
Templo del Fuego (Mexico City), a visit in an old temple with special and pyrotechnical effects.

Stampida (Far West), Russian Mountains of wood with double course (red and blue).
Furius Baco (Mediterranea), Russian Mountains out of metal with hydrolic propulsion.
