Porsche Cayenne

The Cayenne Porsche is the first 4x4 manufactured by Porsche. Also called 955, it is declined in three motorizations gasoline (a V6 and two V8) of 250 horses passing by 340 horses for the version S and going to 450 horses (Bi Turbo) for the version more sport called Turbo. Cayenne was manufactured in collaboration with Volkswagen which has also its 4x4 called him Touareg.

A version Turbo S (improved compression) was born in January 2006, which of makes the most powerful 4x4 and fastest of the market with 521 ch and 270 kmh of maximum speed.

A new series, known as " Impulsion" or " phase 2" , of year model 2008 was presented in January 2007. In addition to the modified style, the engine is an innovation with an increased cubic capacity, the direct injection, more power and a reduced consumption.

With 8.000 euros of benefit per sold vehicle, Porsche with Cayenne became the most profitable manufacturer in the world.

NB: Since its launching in 2003, Cayenne was already sold with + of 160000 specimens in the world.
