Popular party for the French democracy

The Popular party for the French democracy (pdf) is created on July 1st, 1995 by Hervé de Charrette to gather the giscardiens within the UDF. It replaces the National federation of the Clubs Prospects and Realities. April 25th, 2002, the pdf leaves the UDF News and joined the UMP. It changes name then and becomes the democratic Convention .

Within UMP, this current aims at promoting the democracy-Christian woman, i.e. the claim of federal Europe and a decentralizing policy of the French State (prone expensive to the former old Jean-Pierre Raffarin Prime Minister chair District council of Poitou-Charentes).
