Popular front for the democracy and justice

Founded in 1994 by Issayas Afeworki, the Popular front for the democracy and justice is an Eritrean political party , resulting from the wing of the old men of the FPLE (Liberation popular front of Érythrée) which obtained the independence of the country against the Ethiopia in 1993.

Of Leninist Marxist tendency, the FPDJ is the only legal party in Érythrée and refuses any mode authorizing the multi-party system.
