Populage of the marshes
The populage of the marshes ( Caltha palustris ) is a herbaceous Plante long-lived of the family of the Renonculacées.
Description
It is a robust plant, in tuft, with the glabrous sheets, in form of heart, toothed, lower the lengthily petiolate ones. The stems are partly crawling with adventitious roots with the nodes. The rather large flowers are of a sharp gold yellow.
Flowering
According to the altitude from March to August.
Habitat
It is a plant of light in semi-shade of the wet meadows, marshes, ditches and wood fresh.
Surface of distribution
Plant common in all Europe safe in the Mediterranean regions.
