Popolo arrives at providing in all the Italian communes or almost between 1230 and 1260, often combined with the Guelfes and sets up institutions which are clean for him (Captain of the People, Conseil of Old…). The popular mode most famous is certainly that of Florence. Finally, at the end of XIIIe century and the beginning of XIVe, Popolo is closed and become a new leading class, with the image of the company of the towns of Italy of the time, which becomes more partitioned.
