Places and monuments

  • the church Denis Saint, built with 11th and 13th centuries has a twisted Clocher, which was built twisted right from the start, it has just been restored in 2005. The frame of this arrow is pressed directly on the walls of the church. The bell-tower initially square, is covered with slates, then its form becomes octagonal by the addition of sides cut in the angles.
The church contains murals of the 13th century which make its celebrity: Christ in majesty and symbols of the four Evangelists, martyrdom of Saint-Etienne, Resurrection of Lazare in the Northern absidiole of the chorus. In the Southern absidiole one can admire a fresco representing a virgin in Majesty, surrounded of the Annunciation, the Nativity and the Worship of the shepherds. The capitals with their monsters and figures grotesque, are also interesting.
