Pontguiraud
Pontguiraud is one of the Hameau X of the commune of Pardailhan in the Herault.
At the XVIIe century the name of the hamlet is written Pouguiraud. In the past, in 1410, the feudal recognitions of the seigniory of Pardailhan mention Poc Guiraud, evoking in Occitan " mountain of Guiraud".
Following the construction of the castle seigneurial about 1650, then of the installation of the parish church in 1752, the village became the chief town of the baronnie of Pardailhan, then commune after the Revolution of 1789.
