Pontfaverger-Moronvilliers is a common French, located in the department of the Marne and the area Champagne-Ardenne.
History
Pontfaverger, formerly spelled Bridge Faverger , adopted the name of the common neighbor, destroyed during the First World War, of Moronvilliers to obtain its current name of Pontfaverger-Moronvilliers.
It is on the site of Moronvilliers that one of the most important centers of ECA is built today, sheltering the machine Airix, angular stone of the simulation program of French national defense. After 50 years of air and underground shootings with highly toxic and carcinogenic matters classified such as uranium, beryllium…, this center of nuclear experimentation present of the traces of pollution but do not exceed the standards in force according to the analysis of the owner.
