History

The origin of the first bridge of Bossy is not known, but is probably at the beginning of the 20th century. It then consists of two spans of 6,5 meters and its Tablier is made of a metal structure and a coarse concrete filling.

In 1957, this work is reinforced with a surbéton of 20 centimetres. An inspection of 1994 reveals several major defects structural and a budget of: 236000 Swiss francs is freed by the Grand the Council for the demolition and the rebuilding of the work, work completed during the summer 1997. The new bridge consists of two simple beams in metal sections related to a reinforced concrete apron.
