Pont Rouelle

The bridge Rouelle spans the the Seine 15th district (located on left bank of the Seine), with the 16th district, while passing by the Île of the Swans. It is an only railway bridge. It supports the line C of the RER (Vallée connection of Montmorency - Invalids).

It is composed of several parts very différentes :

  • on Right Bank, an arch in masonry spans the bank road
  • the part which spans the right-hand man of the Seine is made up of only one range, with horse on a metal arch without intermediate pile
  • the part which crosses the Island of the swans spans the pedestrian alley by a small stone arch.
