Pont Polémoniaque
The Pont Polémoniaque is the name which the old north-eastern part of the Pont took, which extended from the Thermodon to the Colchide, remained independent after the conquest of the area by Jules César in -47. This area formed a small kingdom which had two kings Polémon I {{er}}, of -47 with -11 and Polémon II of -11 with 65. Polémon II yielded its kingdom to Néron. At the 4th century, this area, become a province, belonged to the diocese of Bridge.
