Pont Mackinac

The bridge Mackinac is a suspended bridge which spans the strait of Mackinac and connects the Péninsule S higher and lower of the state of Michigan. Conceived by the engineer David B. Steinman, it connects the Ville Saint-Ignace on the end of north to the Village of Mackinaw City to the south. With a 1.158 meters length, it is one of the longest suspended bridges in the world.
