Pond of Montady
The Étang of Montady (1) is an old pond drained with the Middle Ages, thanks to remarkable work of drainage of water towards the pond of Capestang. It is located in the West of the department of Herault, halfway between Béziers and Narbonne, in the Canton of Capestang.
It is today characterized by a landscape in “the sun” or star shape, is formed by the fields and the vines which occupy the space of the drained pond.
It is visible since the Oppidum of Ensérune.
