Pomona Chourave
Pomona Chourave is a character of the saga Harry Potter, written by the writer J.K. Rowling.
Professor Pomona Chourave (in English: professor Sprout) is a rather old witch, professor of botany to Poudlard. It is also the director of the house Poufsouffle and member of the Ordre of the phoenix. It is a small massive witch nicely potelée with nails so long and so dirty that they would have made disappear the Aunt Pétunia. Pomona Chourave is in very good terms with Minerva McGonagall and Filius Flitwick. In fourth year of Harry, at the time of the ball of Christmas, she dances with Albus Dumbledore and curiously, she was not inspected by Dolores Ombrage in volume 5. When Harry reveals the truth in the Quibbler on the return of Lord Voldemort and the name of its Mangemorts, it gives twenty points to Gryffondor when in a course of botany, he passes the watering-can to him. In volume 6, it is very sad by learning the death from Dumbledore. It takes part in the battle of Poudlard to volume 7. It also helped, in volume 2, to reanimate the pupils who had been petrified.
