The poll , or way of voting, is the method by which are named elected representatives.
The election of one or more candidates mobilizes the votes cast of the voters. The way of voting makes it possible to designate one or more winners according to two opposite methods:
- the majority Poll, according to which is elected the candidates having obtained the relative majority or absolute votes cast;
- the Poll proportional, or representation proportional, according to which the percentage of seats obtained is equivalent to the percentage of the divided votes.
