Politika

Politika , in Serb Cyrillic Политика, is a Serb Quotidien published in Belgrade. He is regarded as the newspaper of reference of the Serb press.

Presentation

Politika was founded the January 25th 1904 by Vladislav Ribnikar. It is published by Politika Novine I Magazini, " Politika Newspapers and Magazines" (PNM), a Joint undertaking created by Politika A.D., a Serb privately held company, and by the Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung (WAZ), each of the two groups having 50% of the capital. Politika Novine I Magazini also publishes the sporting daily newspaper Sportski žurnal and of many periodicals like Politikin zabavnik , founded in 1939. PNM also has: 1100 newsstands in Serbia and with the Montenegro.

Since its creation, Politika opened its columns with the most eminent personalities of Serbia. Among his contributors, one can quote Branislav Nušić, Ivo Andrić, Vasa Popović, Zuko Džumhur, Ljubomir Vukadinović, Miroslav Radojčić, Moše Pijade etc

" RTV Politika" in 1990 was founded. This radio and this television belong mainly to Politika A.D. They have their own frequencies and their own transmitters which cover most of the territory of Serbia and 90% of its population.

Since the April 2nd 2007, the company Politika AD is with dimensions with the Bourse of Belgrade.
