Geography

The Rhone-Alps area extends on the Beaujolais, the Lyonnais and the Dauphiné. It is a cattle-rearing area and locally, vineyards the such coast of the Beaujolais wine. Small mechanical engineering industries and textile are present.

The area owes the socio-professional distribution of its active population and her economic importance in Lyon. Dauphine
