Pole of higher education Léonard-of-Vinci

The pole of higher education Léonard-with-Vinci , is established in the middle of the district of the businesses of Defense, and was created 10 years ago by the General advice of the Hauts-de-Seine.

The Pole gathers today:

  • Three Bac+5 schools:
    • the School of management Léonard-with-Vinci (EMLV);
    • the University of engineers Léonard-with-Vinci (ESILV);
    • the International institute of multi-media the (IIM);
  • a training center of apprentices (CFA) Léonard-in-Vinci, in Bac+3;
  • the institute Léonard-of-Vinci (ILV), an training institute continuous.

The formations of the pole Léonard-of-Vinci represent a model of teaching unique in France:

  • operation, means and lesson of universities: quality of the permanent teaching staff, pedagogy in small groups, partnerships narrow with the companies and weight of the training courses, international immersion, buildings of lesson and pedagogical equipment very modern, media library of great quality,…
  • fastening with a territorial collectivity, structure of general interest, which guarantees that the continued purpose is to propose with the greatest number an higher education of great quality, and to bring a true academic and professional added-value to students of diversified profiles, academically and socially.

Last nine other schools partners joined specific trainings of the Pole Léonard-of-Vinci within a common structure: the Group Léonard-of-Vinci. The establishments share the same buildings and a certain number of resources, material and teaching. The directions of all these formations are gathered within the board of directors of the Group Léonard-of-Vinci. The objective is to propose on the site an offer of higher formations of quality, diversified and complementary between them. The Group Léonard-of-Vinci is chaired by the managing director of the Pole, Michel Béra.

The group ESSCA has for example a branch within the pole which accommodates half of the students of first and second year.
