Pola X

Pola X is a French dramatic film carried out by Léos Carax and left in 1999.

The film is the brought up to date adaptation of the novel Pierre or ambiguities writes by Hermann Melville and initially published in 1852. The title of film is the acronym followed by the Roman numeral X meaning to it tenth version of the scenario.

Synopsis

Pierre lives with his mother in a castle in Normandy near the edges of the Seine. They are beautiful, rich, carefree and they like. Each morning, Pierre leaves with the motor bike inherited his father to return visit to Lucie, its promised in marriage. One night, Marie announces in Pierre that it fixed the date of her marriage with Lucie. Pierre leaves to announce the good news with its promised in marriage. In way, at the edge of the forest, a creature of a funeral beauty appears. She speaks with a strong accent about the countries about the East: " Pierre… you are not the only child, I am your sister, Isabelle."
