The controversy on the financial bonds with the Nazi Germany
When the family Thyssen, of financial of Adolf Hitler, until in 1938, created the company Union Banking Corporation in 1924 in order to manage their investments in America, Prescott Bush was one of the seven directors of this bank whose it possedat only one Action as from 1934.
The report/ratio of the following Congress described Union Bank like a “interlocking trust” ( trust integrated ) with the German Steel Trust ( German Trust of steel ) responsible for the supplies of the German armament .
Union Bank was also implied in the collection of American pro-German funds and dealt with the illegal transfer of the air fuel technology which made possible the rebuilding of the Luftwaffe.
Coordination between Union Bank and German Steel trust was so close that Prescott spent some time in Europe at the end of the Années 1930 to supervise the mining operations in Poland.
The déclassifiés documents of the National Files and Records Administration, relating to the seizure of the actions of the Union Banking Corp., show that Prescott Bush did not have any relationship with the financial support brought by Thyssen with the Nazi party, and that its role within the Union Banking Corp. was only financial and not policy.
An article of July 1942 in one of the New York Platform on the bank of Prescott Bush, whose title was: “Hitler' S Angel has 3 million in US bank” ( the benefactor of Hitler - Fritz Thyssen - has 3 million in a US bank ), involved the investigation of the Congrès of the United States which made close the Union Banking Corp., but caused only one short interruption in personal and political successes of Prescott Bush.
