The poise corresponds to a resistance to overcome of a Dyne, unit of force which, applied to a mass of one gram, communicates to him an increase speed of 1cm/seconde. It is the unit dynamic CGS of Viscosité, symbol Po . The poise is worth 1 g/cm/s, that is to say 0,1 Pl. (1 Po = 0,1 Pl = 0,1 Pa.s).
