Pointed bourbon
The pointed Bourbon is a variety of Café obtained starting from a Mutation selected Café Bourbon which has occurred in 1810 on the island Bourbon in the Plantation Leroy, which is worth to him also the name of coffee Leroy . Botany
This coffee is obtained starting from a Cultivar coffee-tree of Arabia resulting from a Mutation of the variety Bourbon to the 19th century and called “ change laurina ”. This variety (or this cultivar) is him even indicated under the scientific name Coffea arabica VAr. laurina (or Coffea arabica cv. laurina ), and one shortens sometimes these notations in the binomial form Coffea laurina , which is erroneous, because it is not a question of with whole share.

The delicate Arôme of the coffee makes the delights of the experts at the 18th century, in particular Louis XV. At the next century, Honore de Balzac would have also been very fond of delicacies.
