Point bodkin
The standard arrowheads bodkin are pointed and of square section. They are particularly perforating and easy to produce. They were particularly used with the long Arc English.
The arrows having a moderated kinetic energy (compared to that of a firearm), they generate neither effect of shock nor effect of cavitation. On the other hand, because of their big length, they have good a sectionnelle Densité and thus a great perforating capacity. Consequently, this type of arrow is used against the heavy infantry or the cavalry at short distance. These very effective arrows against the dimensions of meshs can however rebound on the Armures of punts if they do not arrive perpendicular to surface.
