Point Chausenque
The Pointe Chausenque (3204 m) is a top of the Massif of Vignemale in the the Pyrenees. Almost on one level with the glacier of Ossoue, in the south, it dominates in north, of 600 m, the glacier of Oulettes. It is more the high summit of the French Pyrenees.
The first rise known is that of Vincent de Chausenque accompanied by a guide by Cauterets. The top was reached since the Petit Vignemale by the edge connecting the two tops, a rather delicate climbing.
