Poinsettia Bowl

The Poinsettia Bowl is a university match of American football being held since 2005. It takes place with San Diego with the Qualcomm Stadium.

History

This bowl was created by the organizers of the Holiday Bowl. The team of the Navy Midshipmen gained the first edition and is already invited for the editions 2008, 2009 and 2010. The presence of many naval bases of the US Navy in San Diego and in its surroundings explains this decision to privilege the team of Navy.
