Poetic school souabe
l´ poetic École souabe ( Schwäbische Dichterschule ) was a circle relatively closed German romantic poets who constituted between 1805 and 1808 with the Université of Tübingen around Justinus Kerner and of Ludwig Uhland.
One attaches to him poets such as Eduard Mörike, Gustav Schwab, Karl von Ense and Wilhelm Hauff. Certain members of this school founded a little later the poetic circle of Serach to which belonged of the personalities such as Nikolaus Lenau, the count Alexandre of Wurtemberg or Hermann Kurz.
The literary fame reached by this group did not achieve however the unanimity as the attacks of Heinrich Heine in its newspaper Schwabenspiegel show it where the polemic was in particular fed by Karl Mayer.
