Plum tree mombin
The plum tree mombin ( Spondias mombin ) is an American tropical tree of the family of the Anacardiaceae which meets in the semi-arid areas of the Mexico, Peru and Brésil.
It is cultivated for its fruits. Those, called mombins, are ovoid yellow drupes, size of a lemon, and contain a pulp with pleasant, slightly acidulated savor and astringeante.
