Plounévez-Lochrist is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France.

History
The parish of Plounévez-Lochrist belonged to the archidiaconé of concerning Leon évêché of Leon and was under the term of holy Pierre.

the castle of With a grid (XIV-15th century), built under the impulse of Tanguy de Kermavan (or Carman) instead of an old strong castle, the castle of Coetlesplonevez. It is Maurice de Carman, undoubtedly influenced by Philibert Delorme, which gave him its current form and made build in 1555 the vault of Kermeur. Events
- Kerizinen , locality located on the commune of Plounévez-Lochrist where the Virgin Mary and Jesus appeared in Jeanne-Louise Ramonet on several occasions between 1938 and 1965.
The appearances are generally accompanied by miracles (gushing of a miraculous source, rain of petals of pink) and give place, almost each time, with a message. The Christ and Marie inform the Church and France of the dangers which threaten them, call with conversion, the prayer (contemplated rosary) and require of Brittany to be the cradle of a European catholic revival.
In spite of the interdicts successive diocesans, the faithful ones start to flow in Kerizinen. In 1965, the appearances cease. In 1978, a great oratory is inaugurated, 12.000 pilgrims are present at the time of the inaugural ceremony.
The February 19th 1995, Jeanne-Louise Ramonet dies, at the 85 years age.
