Plougastel-Daoulas
Plougastel-Daoulas ( Breton Plougastell-Daoulaz in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France. Its inhabitants is called Plougastels (For the women one uses the Breton word " Plougastellen").
History
Its name Plougastel means " Commune (or parish) of Château" : plou is indeed resulting from Latin plebem (" peuple"), but it took into Breton the direction of " paroisse".
Geography
Plougastel-Daoulas is a commune of the Rade of Brest, located on a peninsula at the south-east of the chief town of district from which it is separated by the mouth from the Élorn.The length of its littoral reaches 37 km and four ports are established there.
It is wedged by the commune of Loperhet.
Its population is distributed, in addition to the borough, on more than 150 Village S, which makes of it a break-in remarkable head in terms of Assainissement, of service road routiere and application of the Loi littoral.
