Ploudalmézeau
Ploudalmézeau ( Breton Gwitalmeze in ) is a common department of the Finistere, in the area Brittany, in France.
Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau comes from lann (monastery) and from Paul-Aurélien saint. Lampaul-Ploudalmézeau owes its origin with creation with the locality Villa $petri (today Kerber, in Lampaul) of a hermitage by Paul-Aurélien saint at the 6th century, with the site of the current church.

The population of Ploudalmézeau rises with 4 994 inhabitants (1999), mainly divided between the Borough, in the center of the commune, and Portsall ( Porsal ), on the coast.
