Geography

The commune of Ploubazlanec is bordered by the Manche, on approximately 19 kilometers of coasts.

History

The parish of Ploubazlanec is mentioned for the first time in 1224. In 1824, Ploubazlanec annexes the communes of Lannévez and Perros-Hamon. Loguivy-of-the-sea

The fishing port of Loguivy is located at the entry of the Trieux. This port is famous for its scallops which are the subject of an annual festival.
