Anecdotes

  • Caméo : with the 41e minute, in silhouette in the office of the " Certificates of births and décès".
  • Wax Tailor, in its sample Don' T You Remember of the album Bruise Off The Forgotten Melodies (March 2005), uses certain pieces of the sound track of film. They are extracts of the dialog of the scene during which Blanche Tyler (played by Barbara Harris) plays the conspicuous ones in front of Julia Rainbird (played by Cathleen Nesbitt), fortunate and corroded old woman remorse. In the sample of Wax Tailor, it is the latter which one intends to speak (in the order of the sample):

"Don' T you remember what happened? " do you remember anything of what occurred? (in reference to the seance to which Blanche has been just delivered)
  • " She makes me ill with her ugly words in my ugly dreams, Tel. her to stop it, to go away and leave me alone" returns to me insane with its horrible words in my dreadful nightmares, say to him to stop, from to go away and me to leave quiet (in reference to his/her late sister, with which Blanche is supposed to communicate)
  • " How did you know butt my troubled sleep? I' ve never told has drunk butt my nightmares" did you know for my sleep disorders? I never spoke with anybody about my nightmares (in answer to the mention but Blanche makes of its difficult sleep, thing that the latter in addition learned thanks to the pharmacist)
  • " Night after night, coming into my dreams, whining, complaining, trying to make me feel guilty" after night, being introduced into my dreams, geignante, plaintive, very to make me feel guilty (again in connection with his/her late sister)
