Legends

A legend claims that it is in the Baie of the Departeds (Cape Sizun) (bae year Anaon) that Gradlon released his/her daughter, that it related to the neck of its horse. Enchanted by the devil, the princess had subtilized the key of the doors of the town of Ys to the neck of her father. This devil disguised as a beautiful prince tapped this key to him and opened the doors of the city by one night of storm. Alarm was sounded in the city and Gradlon managed to escape saving his/her daughter behind him on her mounting. The bishop of Quimper ran in front of this theater, saw the devil flying away and included/understood the made fault. Gradlon learning the breach from his/her daughter gave up the young woman with the floods in fury, while behind him, Ys disappeared in the unchained ocean. It is said that since the princess her sadness in the strong current of center cries, enchanting the sailors to bay of the Departeds, this sand beach beaten by the swell which opens vis-a-vis the Atlantic between the point of the Strong current and the point of Van. It is claimed that the bell of Ys still gets along the evenings of storm at the bottom of the secret pond which was formed behind the dunes of bay.
