Plo Koon

Plo Koon is a character of the Star Wars interpreted by Alan Ruscoe in the phantom Threat (I) then by Matt Sloan in the Attack of the clones (II) and the Revenge of Sith (III) . He is member of the Conseil Jedi during the blockade of Naboo.

Resulting from a long line of Jedi born like him on the planet Dorin, Plo Koon is Kel Dor. Besides its origins force it to carry a gas mask (which enables him to evolve/move in an atmosphere rich in oxygen) as well as safety goggles. It has on the other hand particularly developed extrasensory bodies (that its connection with the Force still makes more effective) and like the majority of Kel Dor, it is able to slice in an innate way between the good and the evil.

The last Padawan informs by Maître Tyvokka, a Wookie member in his time of the Jedi Council, Plo Koon becomes Chevalier and then accompanies his mentor on Troiken where the Republic is on the point of negotiating with the pirate Iaco Stark specialized in the traffic of Bacta. When the meeting degenerates into open conflict (known under the name of Guerre Hyperspatiale of Stark), Tyvokka is one of the first victims and it is with its former student whom the governmental forces until join Jedi leads them to the victory.

Koon reaches then in its turn with the rank of Master and it is invited to sit among the twelve wise ones placed at the head of the Order to be itself brilliantly illustrated at the time of the fifth battle of Qotile. There if it would have liked to be joined by his friend Who-Gon Jinn, it understands quickly that this last is too anticonformist to be seen granting this honor and comforts itself while approaching Micah Giett. The death of Giett on Yinchorr is a new shock for Plo Koon, which immediately decides to deal with the young person Bultar Swan (Padawan of his/her late fellow traveller) but is not long in knowing a new mourning since Maître Jinn is killed by the Sith Darth Maul on Naboo.

During the decade which follows, Kel Dor uses its capacity of mental handling in order to disperse the demonstrators who were introduced into the Jedi Temple following motion (supported by the Investigation of the People) aiming at forcing the Order to return accounts to the government of the Republic.

After having taken part in the battle of Geonosis marking the beginning of the War of the Clones, Maître Koon is implied in many combat. During last months of the conflict, it is in particular sent on the planet Rendili in company of Saesee Tiin, the young person Anakin Skywalker and the captain Jan Dodonna (future general of the Alliance Rebels) in order to make sure that the local armed forces will continue to serve the Galactic République.

It takes over then Obi-Wan Kenobi on Cato Neimoidia but when Darth Sidious lance the Ordre 66 requiring clones which they cut down their Jedi leaders, the stellar hunter of Plo Koon is cut down above one of the cities of planet.
