History
" (...) I set out again quickly for Ploërmel, of which I admired the charming church. Its forms, though Gothics, draw aside the idea of the meticulous one; but one would need two pages sufficiently to explain my idea or rather my feeling, and nothing would be difficult any more to write (...) Eh well! the church of Ploërmel, compared with the other Gothic buildings, the air neither poor, nor laid." Stendhal
the old city of the Dukes of Brittany.
