Pljeskavica
The Pljeskavica , in Serb Cyrillic Пљескавица, is a Serb Hamburger considered as a national dish.
Pljeskavica is originating in Serbia but it is also made in Bosnia-Herzégovine and Croatia and can be found in Slovenia, Hungary, Macedonia and Bulgaria. Traditionally, Pljeskavica is a mixture of lamb and ox, roasted with onions and been useful hot in a somun (a thick bread pita). One says that best Pljeskavica is made with Leskovac, in Serbia.
The Serb dish gains in popularity within the Europe. It is been useful in many Fast Food mainly in Germany and Austria.
At the time of tasting, it is preferable to add several ingredients such as spices, Ketchup, Mayonnaise, Tomate, Concombre, cabbage, etc, according to the tastes of each one.
