History
historical General information
- Old parish, several times named in the cartulaire of Redon, bears the name of the Breton holy , Cadoc. Indeed, Pleucadeuc comes from the Breton Plou and from Cadoc : “the parish of Cadoc”.

In the year 837, a charter is signed in Pleucadeuc In Plebs Cadoci by a monk named Gias Cadoc (servant of Cadoc).

Following the victory of Balloon to Bath-on-Oust in the year 845, Nominoë becomes king de Bretagne and it has its residence with Coët-Len, now common of Saint-Gongard.

With the Middle Ages, the châtellenie of Pleucadeuc depends on the county of Rochefort. It is the property of the families Rochefort, Rieux, Larlan and Hay of Nétumières.

Event
Each year since 1994 is organized the gathering of the " Two and plus" , demonstration which joins together each August 15th between 1000 and 2000 Jumeau X, triplets, quadrupled France and besides. CNRS benefitted from the demonstration of 2007 to organize an investigation.
