Plessis-Dorin is a common French, located in the department of Loir-et-Cher and the area Center.
Geography
Plessis-Dorin is attached to a soil called the Pole-Gouët, to horse on the “border” between four departments (Loir-et-Cher, Eure-et-Loir, the Sarthe and Orne) and three areas (Center, Pays of the Loire and Basse-Normandie). The commune is not however really bordering on the department of the Flowering ash and the Basse-Normandie area.On all its Northern frontage, the commune is bordered by what remains of the Forest of Montmirail.
The commune is crossed by the line of TGV Atlantique, line which is crossed by the autochtones by means of 3 bridges and of 2 tunnels (including one for a brook).
An altitude of 248 m is given by Quid, but does not seem very compatible with the topographic data read on the chart of IGN (dominant extent of the surface of territory located at an altitude lower than 200 m).
