Pleistoanax

Pleistoanax (in Greek old Πλειστοάναξ ) was King de Sparte of 455 with 445, then of 426 with 409.

He is the son of Pausanias, the winner of the Bataille of Foundations, and is family member of the Agiades. He invades the Attique in 446 but is shown to have received money to withdraw itself and in 445, he is exiled. He finds the throne later 19 years, in 426 and concludes with Athens the Paix from Nicias. He dies in 408 and his/her son Pausanias I {{er}} succeeds to him. He reigns jointly with Archidamos II of 455 with 445 then with Agis II of 426 with 408 of the family of the Eurypontides.
