Pleasure Beach, Blackpool is a Amusement park located as its name indicates it to Blackpool in the Lancashire, in England.

History

The park was founded in 1896 by Alderman William George Bean which said to want to create " … an amusement park in the style of the American parks which would make again feel the adults like children and which would inspire to them a feeling of innocence and cheerfulness. "

This park is before a a whole history of family since its opening, generations after generations, the park remained in the hands of the same family. Initially directed by the brother of Bean, Leonard Thompson until in the Years 1970. It is then his/her son William Geoffrey Thompson who took the changing, until her death in 2004. Today it is the girl of William Geoffrey, Amanda Thompson which is with the head of the park.

The park undergoes these last years of many modifications, in order to remetre in form certain attractions. These changes are also visible in the name of the park, since 2007, the park initially called Blackpool Pleasure Beach became Pleasure Beach, Blackpool .
