Pleasure (subway of Paris)

Plaisance is a station of the Métro of Paris on the line 13, in the 14 {{E}} district of Paris.

The station

The station is open in 1937.

Its name comes from the castle of Maine which drew up itself at the 17th century century and had an immense park. The unit was bought in 1842 by a sior Couesnon whose son geometrician undertook the allotment. Thus was born between the 1858 and 1860 district from Pleasure, which became one of the most important unhealthy small islands of Paris. The general Compagnie of the slow trains shaved the castle to install its garages there.
