The Plaza Art is a cinema of district, located near the Town square of Mons in Belgium.

It opens its doors in 1994 in the walls of the old cinema Plaza . A contrario Mons complex Imagix which diffuses mainly films of the box office, the Plaza Art has more cultural claims. Since 1996, the room is member of the European network Europa Cinemas which supports the European cinema industry, network of which is member of other Belgian rooms like the Parc with Charleroi, the Grignoux with Liege and the Studio Skoop with Ghent. The goal of this room is not to project cinema out-standard (cinematographic tests, experimental Cinéma or undergrounds, films unusual in the content or the form). In practice, it diffuses subsidized cinema accessible to many people. Mainly recent European productions in subtitled original version.

The room organizes various animations like school meetings, evening-debates with the Mons sociocultural medium, of decentralizations of festivals, etc
