Plays without borders

Jeux without borders (JSF) is a play of French television created by Guy Lux, Pierre Brive, Claude Savarit and Jean-Louis Marest on an original idea of the Général de Gaulle and diffused on the first chain of ORTF then on Antenne 2 starting from the May 26th 1965 and conceived like a Intervilles on the scale of the Europe.

This play will be with the antenna in France until in 1982 and returns in 1988 on Antenne 2 with mythical couples such as Marie-Angel Nardi and Fabrice but still Daniela Lumbroso and Georges Beller. The emission will remain with the antenna until in 1992 in France to return in 1997 and to finish in 1999 on France 2. The play finished then in Europe. August 2006 sees the advertisement of the reappearance of Jeux without borders for the summer 2007. But because of the financial problems because of the lack of large countries (like the France or the Germany), the edition 2007 is cancelled. Currently, of the petitions circulate on Internet, so that the JSF return in 2008. Despite everything, it is not envisaged at present a return of the Plays without borders on the screens.

It should be noted that in 1980, Peter Gabriel composed a song called Games Without Frontiers .
