Plays panasiatic of winter of 2011

The Asiades 2011 or, more officially, Jeux panasiatic of winter of 2011 will meet with Almaty, the Kazakhstan in January or February 2011, under the official designation of Азиада-2011 (Asiades 2011), after signature of an agreement between the Asian Olympic Council (OCA) and the municipality the March 4th 2004, under the supervision of the International Olympic committee.

It is interesting to note that this edition would have, according to any probability, to see three new “nations” aligning itself in front of the public among the forty-five nations, independently of their current supervision for the occasion (without another political implication), representing seventeen countries: the Tibet, the Mongolia-Interior and the Xinjiang.

At present, ten disciplines are envisaged: Alpine skiing, Hot-dogging, Snowboard, Ski touring, Biathlon, Curling, Hockey, Figure skating, long speed skating tracks and Shorts-track. The governmental site Kazinform speaks, him, of eleven sports.
