Playoffs NBA 1957

The playoffs NBA 1957 are the playoffs of the Saison NBA 1956-1957. They finish on the victory of the Boston Celtics vis-a-vis the St Louis Hawks 4 matches with 3 at the time of final NBA.

Operation

At the conclusion of the regular season, before the beginning of the playoffs, two matches of classification are played, in order to determine the places in the Western Division.
  • March 14th: Strong Wayne Pistons @ St Louis Hawks 103-115
  • March 16th: Mineapolis Lakers @ St Louis Hawks 111-114

After these two matches, qualified is, in the East:

  1. the Boston Celtics
  2. the Syracuse Nationals
  3. the Philadelphia Warriors

In the West, the taken again teams are:

  1. the St Louis Hawks
  2. the Mineapolis Lakers
  3. the Strong Wayne Pistons

At the time of the Semi-finals of Division, the second faces the third in a series with best of the three matches. Gaining meets then, in Finales of Division, the first of Division to best of the five matches. Both gaining meet at the time of the finales NBA, which are played best of the seven matches.
