Playoffs BAA 1949
The playoffs BAA 1949 are the playoffs of the Saison BAA 1948-1949. They finish on the victory of the Mineapolis Lakers, vis-a-vis the Washington Capitols, 4 matches with 2 at the time of final BAA.
Operation
In each division, the four best teams are qualified for the playoffs at the end of the regular season. The teams qualified in the East are:- the Washington Capitols
- the New York Knickerbockers
- the Baltimore Bullets
- the Philadelphia Warriors
The teams qualified in the West are:
- the Rochester Royals
- the Mineapolis Lakers
- the Chicago Stags
- the St Louis Bombers
The first of division faces in a series with best of the three matches the fourth, while the second cheek against the third, always with best of the three matches. Inside each division, both gaining these series clash with best of the three matches in order to designating the team which will dispute finales BAA. These finales are played best of the seven matches.
