The municipality of Playas de Rosarito belongs to the state of Baja California to (Mexico) which is located with 32° 21 ' of northern latitude and 117° 03 ' of western longitude.

In 2000, the municipality counted 63.420 inhabitants. Playas de Rosarito has a territorial extension of 513.32 km ².
