A LP (of the English Long Play or Long Playing ), is the name given to the discs vinyls or the compact disks which comprise a sufficient number of titles to constitute an album (generally more than 8).
Its name comes from the format 33 turns and is to be opposed to the maximum (or EP, of the English Extended Play ) which comprises only 4 to 8 beaches.
